Our Earth Foundation

Foundation for nature preservation, wildlife and environmental education.

„I am life that wants to live, in the midst of life wanting to live“

This quote by Albert Schweitzer sums up our foundation´s guiding principle.

Reverence for life. To us this is realised through the commitment to preserving and valuing our planet – including all its animals, people and plants. The earth is our home. We must take care of it to ensure that the following generations can continue to appreciate its beauty.
Our focus lies on nature conservation. The Dalai Lama once said, “luxury is good air and clean water”. We believe that this luxury is to be preserved as a basis for all living beings.

Furthermore, it is our conviction that there is an interconnection between nature conservation and the protection of animals, climate and human life. All these factors must not and cannot be played off against each other.

Our modern world´s mentality is shaped by the objectification and offsetting of sentient beings. The rainforests, our earth´s lungs, are cut down in favour of paper manufacture. Cattle is plainly a resource for the leather industry. Animals are entitled to live a peaceful life in their natural habitat. And yet, they are devaluated and exploited in our favour. Take slaughter cattle transports for example…

With our work, we want to contribute to the preservation of habitats and endangered species as well as the expansion of wildlife areas. We are also supporting the reimmigration of wolves in Germany. You can find out about each project separately under “Projects”.

Goals

The purpose of our foundation is the support of nature conservancy as well as increasing people´s awareness of the environment.

This is done by:

  • targeted financial aid for projects worldwide concerning species survival and habitat conservation
  • committing ourselves to the preservation of endangered species and wildlife areas
  • involvement in children´s education in order to reinforce their environmental consciousness. This is important since they are the future conservationists
